Jesus loves you

Dimensions/Measurements of Jesus' Love:

1. Width of Christ's Love: Love that forgives

Jesus' Love forgives every sin. Every great sinner and sin can be forgiven by Christ's blood.

See what sort of love the Father has given to us: that we should be called God’s children—and indeed we are!  (I John 3:1)

Because of God's love, we are able to call Him 'Abba'.

For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

God's love is so wide that He gave his only son to the world so that every one of us have eternal life.

2. Height of Christ's Love: Love that gave us Throne

Jesus' love gave us a place in Heaven. Adam's sin gave us death but Jesus redeemed us from death and made us citizens of Heaven. His Love gave us an eternal life.

For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. (Psalm 103:11)

His love never fails. His love is as great as the height of the heavens.

For he raised us from the dead along with Christ, and we are seated with him in the heavenly realms-all because we are one with Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6

God's love seated us with His son in the heavenly realms.

3. Length of Christ's Love: Love that gave us Glory

Having loved his own who were in the world, he now loved them to the very end. John 13:1

His love lasts forever. He loves us to the very end.

If you read John 17, you can see what Jesus prayed for.

I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safe in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one. John 17:11

Jesus prayed for our safety even in the time of his death. He prayed God to keep us one. His love knows no selfishness.

I am not praying only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believe in me through their testimony, that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me. John 17:20

His love gave us the glory to be in God and His son Jesus.

4. Time dimension of Christ's Love: His love is an Everlasting love

I have loved you with an everlasting love. Jeremiah 31:3

His love has no expiry date. He loves you until you die on this earth. He will never leaves you alone. He loves you and always waits for you. He forgives you no matter what your sin is. Your friends, relatives and parents loves you only upto a limited time. His love is eternal.

5. Depth of Jesus' Love:

You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich.

His love is so deep - He became poor to make us rich.

But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”

His love is so deep- He took our curse upon HIM.

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin,so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

He became a sinner to redeem you from sin.

What we do see is Jesus, who was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.

Jesus died for all of us to give us eternity.

Yet it was our weaknesses he carried;
it was our sorrows that weighed him down.
And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God,
a punishment for his own sins!

He was crushed and became a man with no beauty. He gave away his beauty to make us beautiful.
